Olena Kaplan is an Associate Analyst with Pyramid Research’s European Regional Team focusing on market research, telecom demand analysis, forecasting models and consulting engagements. Olena is based in the company’s London Office and is responsible for tracking the market dynamics and trends across Central and Eastern European markets.
Prior to joining Pyramid Research, Olena worked in the telecommunications, legal and consulting industries in the UK and Ukraine. Her experience includes the support and cross functional implementation (customer relations, billing and sales) of the GSM 900 launch in the Ukraine, while working for Ukrainian Mobile Communication (UMC). In addition she has also gathered client engagement experience across a wide variety of projects in the energy, real estate, and finance sectors.
Olena holds a master degree in Intellectual Property Law from King’s College, University of London. As part of a joint course between the School of International Arbitration and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Olena wrote a thesis on the topic of online arbitration. In her work she analyzed the impact of electronic document, encryption and video conferencing technologies on the arbitration process and reviewed the outlook for international arbitration frameworks in the light of e-commerce. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.
Olena is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English. In her free time Olena enjoys travelling and is a passionate amateur photographer.
