Jan is Manager of Pyramid’s Research EMEA practice with over 5 years of experience in market forecasting and analysis of competitive strategies. Jan’s primary role is to ensure high quality and consistent research covering the Europe, Middle East & Africa regions and leading the forecasting of telecom adoption and market share across this territory. He has participated in a number of conferences including 3GSM, Barcelona and Mobile Enterprise World as well as conducted strategy workshops for Pyramid’s clients.

Recently, Jan has participated in different consulting projects including competitive analysis of operator’s marketing activities in Western Europe and the Czech Republic. He also led a due diligence analysis for a new license in the Middle East which included the evaluation of long term scenarios for new entrants.
Prior to joining Pyramid, Jan was a senior analyst with Frost & Sullivan, where he developed reports on European mobile content market, fixed-mobile convergence trends, wireless LAN and messaging platforms. He was also involved in delivering a number of consulting projects, including DSL partner profiling and benchmark analysis of network maintenance market entry strategies.
Jan has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Barcelona and graduated from Exeter University with a degree in Economics. Jan speaks English, French and Spanish and is conversational in Dutch and German. In his spare time, Jan enjoys reading and swimming.
