Cambridge, MA, October 4, 2005 – Pyramid Research is proud to announce Ken Figueredo as its new Managing Director of Consulting.
Ken’s experience as a managing consultant within the communications industry adds a new dimension to Pyramid’s expanding consultancy practice. “We are delighted to have Ken at Pyramid,” says Catherine Forster-Connolly, President of Pyramid Research. “He brings tremendous experience to Pyramid and will be instrumental in helping us meet the growing demand across our entire client base.” Ken will coordinate the expansion of the practice and manage a consulting team with staff in Pyramid’s Cambridge, MA, Washington DC, Miami, London and Hong Kong offices.
Pyramid’s focus on growth opportunities in the converging communications, media and technology (CMT) industries is complemented by its market forecasting and research presence in more than 90 countries worldwide. The Pyramid Consulting Practice leverages this global presence and telecoms industry expertise to advise on: marketing strategy; industry and competitive analysis; and, due diligence assignments for clients in developed and emerging markets around the world.
Prior to joining Pyramid, Ken was a Principal Consultant and VP of Business Development for Analysys Consulting where he was instrumental in establishing Analysys’s North American operation in Washington D.C. His professional experience at Analysys included a range of marketing strategy assignment in the mobile operator, technology vendor and intellectual property sectors. He also developed Analysys’s market and technical due diligence practice, advising US-based financial institutions on debt financing for telecoms operators in African, Asian, Central European and Latin American markets.
Ken’s academic credentials span both business and engineering disciplines. He received a B.Sc. in Engineering with French as well as a PhD. in Engineering from the University of Bath (UK) as well as an MBA from INSEAD (France).
